Ok, Iconic means you are widely known as a brand name or acknowledged for distinctive excellence. So shut your fucking face about calling a picture of you in mom jeans and a crop top on instagram iconic. This woman, who was not only a widely known brand name, her show became iconic for the feminist movement in America. Mary Tyler Moore's character on the show asked for equal pay as her male counterparts, went on the pill, and so in so many other ways inspired women to break out of the mold of the traditional 50s housewife role.
So get out of my face with this shit where you take a picture of your watch on the beach somewhere and call that shit iconic. It's a watch. It's not even a nice watch.
